Dr. Patel enjoys all aspects of urologic surgery he specializes in new advanced robotic techniques such as Cystectomy with Intra-corporeal Diversions, Retroperitoneal Access Robotic Surgery, and Zero Ischemia partial nephrectomy. During his time at USC, Dr. Patel performed hundreds of benign and oncologic Robotic procedures using the Intuitive Surgical’s DaVinci™ Xi and Si platforms and also consulted with Intuitive Surgical in testing future technologies. He has been nationally recognized on his work with neuro-protective nanosphere drug delivery technologies as well as cytoreduction for metastatic prostate cancer. Dr. Patel is a strong patient advocate and his satisfaction lies in providing them the opportunity to return normalcy to their lives.
