Dr. Schertzer joined Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates in August 1993. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is an active member of the Medical Association of Georgia, Atlanta Women's Medical Alliance, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the Piedmont Medical Society. She is currently Chairperson of the Medical Advisory Committee with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Georgia Chapter.
