Dr. Silverboard is a pulmonologist with Pulmonary and Critical Care of Atlanta, an active Lung Cancer Multidisciplinary Care Team member, and presently serves as the Medical Director for Thoracic Oncology and Chair of the system-wide Lung Cancer Program Steering Committee. As the physician lead for the Lung Cancer Program, Dr. Silverboard is a champion for community health education and tobacco and smoking cessation; he oversees all aspects of lung cancer screening across the NH system; he spearheads Lung Cancer Program development and quality improvement activities; and he regularly meets with community physicians to promote the clinical expertise and “state of the art” diagnostic and treatment capabilities offered by Northside Hospital and its physician partners.
