Dr. Guentner has been published in several peer-reviewed journals including Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the American Journal of Gastroenterology, and the Journal of Neurogastroenterology and Motility. In addition, she has been a frequent presenter at medical conferences, including Digestive Disease Week. During her academic training, Dr. Guentner conducted research studies in general gastroenterology, as well as Barrett’s esophagus, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). She has a particular interest in IBD, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn/reflux, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, women’s GI health, iron deficient anemia, and microscopic colitis.
